A slow site is costing you money right now

Data updated for 2026

Not eventually. Right now. Every visitor who bounces before your page loads is a lead you paid to acquire and lost before they even saw your offer.

47%

expect pages to load in 2 seconds or less

And 40% abandon sites that take more than 3 seconds. That's nearly half your traffic gone.

7%

conversion drop per extra second of load time

Amazon calculated a 1-second delay costs them $1.6 billion per year. Your numbers are smaller — but the ratio is the same.

53%

of mobile users abandon after 3 seconds

Google's Core Web Vitals are now a ranking signal. A slow site doesn't just lose visitors — it loses search positions too.

How We Speed Up WordPress Sites

We don't just install a caching plugin and call it done. We use AI-powered analysis to audit the full stack — server, database, images, code, and third-party scripts — then fix what actually matters.

1

Full performance audit

We run your site through Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and WebPageTest to get a complete picture of what's slowing you down — not a guess.

2

Image optimization

Convert to WebP, add lazy loading, resize for viewport. Images are responsible for 50–70% of page weight on most WordPress sites.

3

Caching & CDN setup

Server-level caching, browser caching headers, and CDN delivery so your site loads fast from any location — not just from your server's data center.

4

Database cleanup

Years of post revisions, transients, and orphaned data bloat the database. A clean, indexed database means faster queries and faster page generation.

5

CSS & JS optimization

Minify, defer, and eliminate render-blocking scripts. We audit third-party scripts (chat widgets, analytics, fonts) and defer what can wait.

6

Core Web Vitals tuning

LCP, CLS, FID/INP — Google's ranking signals. We optimize specifically for these metrics and give you before/after scores to prove the improvement.

Unoptimised product images plus a bloated theme were the culprits. WebP conversion, lazy loading, and removing 4 redundant plugins cut load time by 79%.

Elementor's bloated CSS/JS was loading on every page. After migration to a clean custom theme, the site became the fastest in their local market niche.

WordPress Speed Optimization FAQ

Is this a one-time service or ongoing?

Both. We offer a one-time speed optimization engagement (audit + implementation) starting from $350. Speed optimization is also included in the Professional and Premium care plans as an ongoing service — we monitor and maintain performance every month.

My site already has a caching plugin. Isn't that enough?

A caching plugin helps, but it's rarely the whole answer. Most speed issues come from unoptimised images, bloated themes, too many plugins, and server configuration. We audit the full picture — caching is one piece of a larger system.

Will you need access to my WordPress admin?

Yes. To implement changes we need WordPress admin access and FTP/SSH access to your server. We'll walk you through how to grant access safely, and we document every change we make.

How long does a speed optimization take?

The audit takes 1–2 business days. Implementation typically takes 3–5 business days depending on the size of your site and the scope of changes needed.

Will any of this break my site?

We always create a full backup before making any changes, and we test in a staging environment for larger sites. In over ten years of doing this, we've never shipped a speed optimization that broke a client's site in production.
