Start a Conversation How it works ↓$75/hr — below the market rate
Agency-quality work at freelancer prices. Most WordPress specialists charge $100–$250/hr.
24-hour response. Always.
Not "we'll get back to you soon." An actual guaranteed response time, in writing.
One developer. The same one every time.
No handoffs to junior developers. Kris handles your work personally.
The developer horror stories are real
Hired a freelancer on Upwork. Great first week, then they went quiet. Three months later, still waiting for the project to finish.
Paid a developer $4,000 for a new site. They delivered. Six months later, something broke — and they're nowhere to be found.
Started with a small agency. The senior dev sold the project, a junior dev built it. The result didn't match the pitch.
Your current developer takes 2 weeks to respond to a simple change request. Meanwhile, your competitors are iterating fast.
How Hiring a WordPress Developer With Pressive Works
We work as a retained partner, not a one-off contractor. That means we learn your site, your business, and your goals — and we're still here in six months when something needs changing. We also leverage AI tools to deliver faster results without cutting corners.
Kick-Off
We start with a 60-minute discovery call to understand your site, your goals, and your current pain points. Then we document everything — so nothing gets lost between conversations.
Ongoing Work
You send a message. We respond within 24 hours. For retainer clients, we track hours and send a monthly summary so you always know where time went. For hourly work, we quote before starting.
Reporting
Monthly written summary of what was done, what changed, and what we recommend next. No vague "maintenance completed" notes. Specific work, specific results.
Kris Szabo — Founder & Developer
I've been building WordPress sites for 10+ years. I built Pressive because I kept hearing the same stories — developers who disappear, agencies that promise seniors and deliver juniors. I answer every message personally. That's not a marketing line. It's how I run the business.

Hire a WordPress Developer: FAQ
What kind of WordPress work can you handle?
Custom theme development, plugin customisation, WooCommerce work, speed optimisation, migrations, bug fixes, new pages and features, accessibility improvements, and ongoing site maintenance. If it's WordPress, we can handle it.
I have a very specific project — can I get a fixed-price quote?
Yes. For defined projects (a new page, a specific feature, a migration), we'll scope the work upfront and give you a fixed price. No surprises.
Do unused retainer hours roll over?
Monthly Retainer hours roll over one month. Growth Retainer hours roll over two months. After that, unused hours expire — we find that open-ended rollover creates bottlenecks, not value.
Can I cancel a retainer?
Yes, with 30 days notice. No lock-in. We prefer clients who stay because the work is good, not because they're stuck in a contract.
What timezone are you in?
Kris is based in Thailand (ICT, UTC+7). Most European and US clients find this works well — we're working while you sleep, so changes are often ready when you start your day. The 24-hour response guarantee applies regardless of timezone.
How do you handle large projects?
For projects over 20 hours, we work in milestones: scoped proposal → 50% upfront → delivery → 50% on approval. This aligns incentives: you don't pay everything upfront, and we don't work without commitment.
